Tis the Season to Celebrate Volunteers!
In 2015, 300 people – including 89 groups – volunteered their time and talents at Hearth. Our volunteers are the gift that keep on giving year round, but they do play an extra special role during the winter holiday season, serving Thanksgiving dinner, shopping for holiday gifts, spreading good will and cheer and serving Christmas dinner. At this year’s Volunteer Appreciation Reception Hearth is recognizing Temple Sinai in Brookline for their many years of partnership, serving Christmas dinner and visiting with the residents of the Anna Bissonnette House, and Leslie Hitelman, who, for the last three years, has shopped for holiday gifts for all the residents of the Anna Bissonnette House – and then has volunteered to shop for more.
This year’s Volunteer Appreciation Reception will take place on Wednesday, May 18 at 5:30 pm at Hearth at Olmsted Green.
