The Adopt-A-Room Program at Hearth allows you to make a difference in the life of an formerly homeless older adult by transforming empty apartments into a HOMEs.
Adopting an Apartment:
Individuals and groups are needed who are interested in adopting an apartment. These individuals or groups will raise funds for Hearth to purchase and/or collect the household items – everything from a bed to a coffee mug – for each apartment they adopt. The estimated cost to fully furnish a new apartment for a formerly homeless older adult is $5,000
*Depending on the state of Covid-19 restrictions, individuals and groups that adopt rooms may be invited to come set up and decorate and welcome the new residents into their new homes.
