Mardi Mitchell, Director of Health Services (RNC, NP, CNS)

Mardi Mitchell (RNC, NP, CNS) supervises Hearth's preventative ambulatory care delivery and is a member of the senior management team. She earned medical and nursing degrees from Boston College and Harvard Medical School, provided patient care at the Massachusetts General Hospital, and served in a faculty position at Harvard Medical School and as adjunct faculty at the MGH Institute of Health Professions.

She served as Director of the Women's Care Comprehensive HIV Center at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers, Yale New Haven Hospital (Community Health) and Yale University School of Medicine both in GYN Oncology and a faculty position.

Mardi served in the US Navy for 21 years, completing deployments in the Atlantic, Caribbean, Mediterranean, North Atlantic, and Pacific operating areas aboard the USS Hunley, the USS Seattle, the USS John F. Kennedy, and the USNS Mercy. She earned two Navy Commendation Medals and five Navy Achievement Medals (among the highest peacetime honors), including the Public Health Service Achievement Award for contributions to Native American Women's Health, and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service during the First Gulf War.

In 2021 she received New York City's Distinguished Service Award (COVID-19 Pandemic) and is recognized globally for her research and expertise in the areas of cervical cancer screening and diagnosis techniques.
