Dawn Matchett LICSW, Chief Program Officer
Dawn joined Hearth in 2001 as a licensed social worker after earning her Master’s Degree from Simmons College School of Social Work. Over the next few years, Dawn worked in several of Hearth’s residential programs providing clinical case management support and services to elders in Hearth Housing. In 2008 she transitioned to two positions, Director of Intake and Resident Placement and Residential Program Director. As Director of Intake and Resident Placement she managed the waiting list for Hearth Housing and coordinated the application and move-in process for prospective tenants. As Residential Program Director she oversaw the operation of one of Hearth’s resident programs. In 2013 she was promoted to Director of Behavioral Health. During her time in this role she supervised Hearth’s clinical staff and directed behavioral health program development and monitoring. In October of 2020 she was promoted to Chief Program Officer.
